Lachlan Bristow, NSW/ACT Retail Manager, takes the tour of Castle Hill, Sydney, and talks us through all of the aspects of store zones and rationale of layout and product range in the business.

"Hello and welcome to our brand new Bedshed Castle Hill store open just before Christmas.

I'd love to take you on a tour today. Let's go.

The first thing you'll notice when you enter one of our brand new Bedshed stores is our beautiful furniture, and the furniture ranges are carefully developed by our merchandising and store design team, displayed and dressed beautifully with matching case goods and tall boys, so that the customer gets a real picture and idea of what it's going to look like in their actual bedroom.

Now let's go over and take a look at our customisable bed program mix & match.

Mix & Match section

This is our mix and match customisable upholstered bed area, where customers get the opportunity to totally design and customise headboards, bases, touch and feel fabrics, pick different leg options, which often surprises people that you can actually do this because this product is made to order, totally bespoke for the customer that chooses it.

And now let's go have a look at our mattress area.

Mattress Range Area

This is our mattress range which occupies the centre of most Bedshed stores.

We have a great range of mattresses terms of different feels, from firm, medium to soft mattresses, different price points, and we also do some of the biggest brands in bedding in Sealy, Tempur, SleepMaker, and we also do our own brands.
