What is your business?

"OMG! Decadent Donuts, we make vegan and gluten free donuts."

Where are you located?

"Home base is Brisbane but all around Australia, we've got 60 around the country."

What do you love about the business and what you do?

"I suppose from my perspective we treat it like a business development company where we actually teach people how to run a successful small business and it's just so much fun, you know, engaging, selling donuts."

What do you look for in the right-fit person to be a franchise owner, can you describe them?

"We are after people who are looking to make a change in their life. They, you know, they've got the personality to connect with customers. 

They've got the ability to want to work hard and enjoy what they do. You know, just everyday people, really not too hard."

What’s a common misconception you believe people have about your brand or niche?

"I think a lot of people think that we're all money hungry, we're all here to take everyone's money. But, you know, what we're trying to do is help people find their own financial freedom, I suppose."

What would your advice or guidance to people looking to get into their own business?

"Do it. It's scary. It's hard. It's overwhelming. It's it's exhausting. But it's so rewarding. Once you find that sweet spot, make it happen."

What is your key focus for the next 12-18 months?

"We're moving in to New Zealand later this year and we are launching a secondary business off our main business. 

So work, work, work, work, work.”
