Franchise owner journey: Pappi Mukasa, CouriersPlease - Spent 9 years in a refugee camp before making his way to Australia, Pappi had an entrepreneurial calling even after finishing a Civil Engineering Degree with Honours. 

The urge to have career freedom with his own business was just too strong.

Starting to look for something different, his thinking was directed to online sales and logistics that he saw growing, and had a connection to a person with CouriersPlease, so he called him and understood more.

10:20 Pappi quit his job with a nervous dad worried about his path and financial security. Pappi was prepared to back himself and took the leap and bought the business 5 years ago.

12:00 What training was like and how the business operates for him, and what he found the most difficult part of the business - which was learning the territory that he needs to get around in for deliveries. This took about 6 months for him to feel really comfortable finding his way around.
