Andy Pham is a Soul Origin multi-store franchise owner. Soul Origin’s mission is to bring ‘good times and delicious food and barista, crafted coffee’ in over 150 locations across Australia.
In Episode#60 - We explore Andy's journey from working as a barista in Sydney to owning multiple Soul Origin stores across Queensland.
Andy started his journey with Soul Origin eight years ago, initially working for franchise partners before opening his own store.
He moved from Sydney to Queensland and gradually expanded his operations, starting with a store in Helensvale and later acquiring stores in Garden City and Brisbane Uptown (Previous Myer Centre CBD). He is currently preparing to open his third store at Fortitude Valley train station.
Andy emphasises the importance of effective staff training and trust in managing multiple stores. He believes that training and empowering staff are key to successful multi-site ownership, as it allows him to delegate responsibilities and focus on growing the business.
He also discusses the differences between operating in suburban shopping centres and high-traffic CBD locations, noting that each requires a tailored approach to maximise opportunities.
